RTC 8 LANDSCAPING
Six years ago, the resiliency of the people in Eastern Visayas, particularly in RTC 8 has been tested. It was the time when the strongest typhoon, Yolanda, brought havoc in the region, which cost thousands of lives and properties, and RTC 8 was no exemption. The training center was in disarray. But hope was given to this institution and soon enough, it transcend to its current state. With the financial assistance funded by the government, new and state-of-the-art buildings and facilities were constructed, in order to accommodate the growing number of its clientele. Likewise, as soon as PLTCOL MARLON D PAISTE, assumed office as the Regional Training Director, in August 2019, he initiated the beautification of RTC 8 as one of his Best Practices. With the assistance of the police students and recruits, particularly in manpower, the landscaping of the training center's premises was realized. RTC 8 is not just a training ground for physical and mental development but also a home where dreams are made and proper values are formed. Thus, we endeavor to provide conducive environment for quality education and training.
